This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and retain personal information when you browse, shop or contact POPHOARD. Shopify hosts our store and provides related commerce services.
Information we collect
- Identity and contact information, billing and delivery addresses and customer-support submissions.
- Order history, payment status, returns, refunds, account preferences, saved items and communications.
- Device, browser and usage information, such as IP address, identifiers, cookies, pages visited and approximate location.
- Information provided by payment, fulfillment, shipping, fraud-prevention and other enabled service providers.
Payment providers process the payment credentials needed to complete a transaction. Do not send full card numbers, card security codes, passwords or unnecessary sensitive information in a support message.
How information is used and shared
We use information to operate the store, process payments, fulfill orders, manage returns, provide support, prevent fraud, maintain security, improve services and comply with law. Where permitted and subject to required consent or choices, we use information for email communications, analytics and advertising.
We disclose information as needed to Shopify, payment providers, fulfillment partners, carriers, customs agents, security and technology providers, professional advisers and enabled analytics, advertising or support providers, or as legally required. We may also disclose information at your direction or in connection with a lawful business transaction. Where analytics or advertising disclosures meet the applicable legal definition of a sale, sharing or targeted advertising, the relevant consent and opt-out requirements apply even if no money is exchanged.
Shopify services
Shopify processes information to provide and improve its commerce services. Certain enabled Shopify features may use information from interactions with our store, Shopify and other merchants, with Shopify acting under its own privacy responsibilities where applicable. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify Privacy Portal for details and relevant requests.
Cookies and advertising choices
Cookies and similar technologies support store operation, security, preferences, measurement and, where permitted, advertising. Use the store's cookie-preference controls or this policy and Your Privacy Choices to access available choices. Where required by applicable law, we honor supported opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, for the browser or device involved. Browser settings and available consent choices may affect how features work.
Marketing email consent is separate from making a purchase. You may unsubscribe using the link in marketing emails; we may still send necessary order, account or service messages.
International processing, security and retention
Shopify and our service providers may process information outside your country, including in connection with cross-border fulfillment, using safeguards required by applicable law. We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including fulfillment, support, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes and legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Your rights and requests
Depending on your location and the laws that apply, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection, withdraw consent, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, or opt out of sale, sharing or targeted-advertising uses as legally defined. These rights are subject to applicable exceptions. Send requests to support@pophoard.com or Contact Us; we may need proportionate identity verification and may accept an authorized agent where required. You will not be unlawfully discriminated against for exercising a privacy right. If a request is denied, any applicable appeal or complaint rights remain available.
Children and third-party links
The store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian may contact us about information a child has submitted. Third-party websites, payment services and social platforms have their own privacy practices; review their notices before sharing information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and publish a revised effective date. Contact support@pophoard.com with privacy questions or requests, or write to the company contact address above. Where applicable, you may also complain to the relevant supervisory authority.
